    Our Curriculum

    The British National Curriculum, as delivered in the UK, offers an introductory programme for Early Years students (i.e. aged 3 – 5 years) and subsequently clearly defined subject specifications in Primary(students aged 5 – 11 inclusive) for English (Literacy), Mathematics (Numeracy), Science, Humanities, Expressive Arts(Art, Music, Drama) and Physical Education, Starting from Middle School Section for Year 7-9 students, i.e. 11 to 14 year olds, The British National Curriculum has more defined subject specifications for English(and Literature), Mathematics, Science, Humanities, Expressive Arts(Art, Music, Drama), Design and technology and Physical Education.

    Our Teachers

    All members of our teaching staff are native English speakers and all are fully qualified and experienced, the majority having worked in schools offering the British National Curriculum either at home in the United Kingdom or in international schools throughout the world. CGA is committed to the professional development of its teaching staff and the British National Curriculum Council as well as the Cambridge International Examinations Syndicate both provide training courses through the year and members of staff may be designated to attend these. About Us

CANTON GLOBAL ACADEMY (CGA) is a member school of the Canadian International Educational Organisation. (CIEO). Founded in September 2017, CGA is a newly established, non-profit, co-educational international school in Guangzhou China which offers The British National Curriculum. It has an Early Years Section for children aged 3 – 5 years old, a Primary Section catering for Years 1 – 6 inclusive i.e. 5 to 11 year olds, and Middle School Section for Year 7-9 students, i.e. 11 to 14 year olds. From age 11 upwards, it will eventually offer the Cambridge International Board General Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations (Cambridge International IGCSEs) to year 11 students, i.e.16 year olds. It is anticipated in future years to be offering Cambridge University Board Advanced Level Examinations.
